Light Show

This was a photograph I took in the Lake District for an exhibition that all the Graphic Designers and Illustrators in our year put on called "Light Show."

It was held in Output Printmaking Studio...and the theme was simply..'Light'

This was a piece of work I did for the V&A (Victoria and Albert) "Designers of the Future" exhibition.

I did eventually frame it.. but didn't get a chance to photograph it.. so this is it in progress..

Sea Shepherd

These images were for a book for Sea Shepherd an international non-profit, marine wildlife conservation organization.
The book was titled "Blue Rage" and contained information about the over fishing of Bluefin tuna in the mediterranean.

They include strip-mining, which will eventually destroy an area of forest bigger than the UK, and steam-drainage, which is ridiculously energy-intensive"

These pieces are inserts from a book that i made called "Just Add Water"
I handmade all of the paper and embedded vegetable and flower seeds into the sheets. The idea being that the pages could be ripped out and planted in the ground and the plants would grow. Everything about the book came from the ground- and can go back into it. Completely bio-degradable...plantable...readable...nearly edible....
